Saving the Sutras is a quest for level 10-35 in The Jade Forest. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,800 experience and money.
My adepts had to abandon their studies when the sha invasion began.
Unfortunately, they left their books scattered around the temple grounds. These priceless works of knowledge must be saved!
The sutras can be found near the Training Pit and the Adept's Ring to the northeast.

Everyone,
It doesn't matter what your realm / faction you belong to - please, please, PLEASE send blizzard a suggestion to increase the spawn rates of these books!
My suggestion message to blizzard was:
" Hello,
The spawn rate of [Ancient Sutra] in the quest [Saving the Sutras] is too low.
Please increase the spawn rates and preferably increase the amount of locations available for this quest item to spawn.
Thank you. "
I have to give Blizzard credit for creating an immersive experience here. Between the over-camping and the abysmal spawn rates, it really does feel like I'm being consumed by the Sha of Doubt...
The Blizzard Gods must have heard the complaints about the spawn rates because as of 24/05/13, I had NO problem collecting these tomes :)

|---|---|---|
| Currency | Lesser Charm of Good Fortune | 2 |

These brave Pandaren defend the temples of Pandaria from the evils of the Sha.
Reputation group: Mists of Pandaria.
Other quests in The Jade Forest that reward The August Celestials reputation: The Jade Serpent (+250), The Darkness Around Us (+250), Behind the Masks (+250), Arrows of Fortune (+250), Hidden Power (+250), The Shadow of Doubt (+350).
Possession of the Lesser Charms of Good Fortune will result in great happiness and the eventual conversion into Warforged Seals, which allow players to risk a coin to receive a bonus reward from raid encounters.
Item facts are the current retail client’s (ItemSparse); the specialisations for a pick-one item are the ones the Blizzard quest API lists; faction and currency text is the client’s own. Lowest listed price = the US commodity auction house now.
Taken from a quest that requires this one.
A terrible manifestation of the sha has appeared to the south. It is trying to destroy an ancient relic, the Bell of a Thousand Whispers. This bell has never been rung in the temple's history, for it is rumored to be an ancient instrument of power. Please go and defeat this demon where it stands!
Do you see the violent black and white flames erupting all around the temple? The greater our doubt, the stronger they rage. Unchecked, they will devour the entire temple. We have but one hope. Take flight on one of our war serpents.
Steps, storylines and map placement from the client’s QuestLine, prerequisite and QuestPOI data; neighbouring quest text is Blizzard’s own (quest API), shortened to its opening sentences.
