This quest is not necessary if you're trying to get Exalted with the Pearlfin Jinyu -- it doesn't lead to any reputation-granting quests.
Becareful on this quest I was in a group with my boyfriend and were both on the quest, while it worked fine for me as i handed it in first it bugged for my boyfriend and had to go through 2 unhelpful gms before we finnally got one to answer the ticket that could help us and was a tad annoying.

What to do
Description
I see that you and your people are desperate to find your Prince Anduin. I know someone who may be able to help you, a pandaren Lorewalker who knows this land better than anyone. I cannot guarantee what kind of reception you will receive, but he will almost certainly be as curious about you as you are of him! The Lorewalker lives in the forest to the southwest. Tell him that the Pearlfin have sent you.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
