It's possible to walljump up the interior side of the Manaforge after triggering the shutdown, from there all the mobs will evade, all you have to do is keep them in combat for two minutes, no fighting necessary.

About three times more mobs spawn to try and stop you, so it's harder than the other manaforges but still pretty easy so long as you have the suggested 3 people. Elite spawns at the end, he's also straightforward and easy to kill.
If you are having trouble at the end (a lot of mobs) you can just kite and fear them around the room. Doesn't matter if there is10 mobs up as long as they don't stop the shutdown.

What to do
Description
One manaforge is all that keeps Tempest Keep functional. After we bring Manaforge Ara down, Kael will have to resort to depleting whatever energy he's got stored up. Travel to Manaforge Ara, in the northwest, and deliver the final blow that we need by shutting it down. The last access crystal is in the possession of Overseer Azarad. Be warned that we expect heavy opposition in the last of Kael's functional manaforges. You're likely to need the assistance of reliable friends.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Shutting Down Manaforge Duro
We've received news from one of the two manaforges that remain operational. The Sunfury army is losing control of Manaforge Duro. Droves of errant mana creatures have been attracted to it by its increased energy production - the manaforge is in chaos.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Sunfury Briefings
Something about these manaforges has been bothering me, <name>. Naaru technology is incredibly advanced; it should've taken Kael'thas years to even begin to understand it.
