Just a heads up that you MUST have selected allegiance with Aldor at the Shattrath terrace of light before this quest is available to you.

If you visit the quest giver before doing so, no quests will be available.

There are two prerequisites for [Distraction at Manaforge B'naar], one of which is completing any one of these quests (which, by the way, will make the other five not acquirable):

[Off To Area 52]
[A Strange Vision]
[Out of This World Produce!]
[Parts for the Rocket-Chief]
[A Mystifying Vision]
[Assist Exarch Orelis]

The other prerequisite, is [Allegiance to the Aldor].

You must have completed both in order for this quest to be available.

What to do

StorylineNetherstorm, step 1 of 103
Rewards10g 50s, 4,100 XP

Description

We were sent here by the Sha'tar to investigate the manaforges that Kael'thas' army is operating here. Unfortunately, the Scryers threaten to renege on their information-gathering duties unless we support them with military action. We can't afford to compromise this mission over politics, so we've agreed to weaken the manaforge's defenses so that the Scryers can do their work. Prove your loyalty to the Aldor and slay the Sunfury magisters and bloodwarders that guard Manaforge B'naar.

If our instincts are right and these manaforges have been made using technology from Tempest Keep, then all of Outland could be in grave danger. Tempest Keep's energy-recharging mechanisms were never supposed to be used this close to the land.
