TheWoWDBThis was a pain to find. The path up to the baconlisk is at 40,26 take the turn just ahead at 40,27. Go through that thin pass and you should see a gold leafed willow-like tree acrosst the river below (the only one in visual angle/range). Once through that pass turn right and don't fall off. there is a cave just ahead at 39,29. The baconlisk is inside.

This information is incorrect. I'm standing in a cave at 40,26 right now, and i guarantee you this is not the place. It needs clarification. I've been here 3 or 4 times in the last 2 hours, and it's simply not the location you describe.
OKAY...now I located it.
Please note it is NOT the cave located on a lower area at the left of the river. If you go in and see an orange crystal, you are not in the correct place. Go out of the cave, go right and follow around the mountain to the same 40, 26 which will put you directly on TOP of said cave. Then go UP the path a little bit and turn left as Bloodtail described.
To unlock this world quest you need 75 cooking skill. This can be done via Halfhill cooking trainer Sungshin Ironpaw in -+3 minutes. Just bring 3 Golden Carps. You don't need to unlock Nomi's kitchen in Dalaran.
