TheWoWDBI rolled up to the quest location, and then summoned Gas Bag. Nothing happened. I sent Gas Bag away, walked a bit away and then resummoned so I could approach with the construct. Fragmented Pox will begin to spawn and you kill them to get pox nodules.

The Pox Nodules wouldn't start spawning when I flew down onto the Absorbing Pox. With Gas Bag still summoned, I walked down the hill some and then back up to the Absorbing Pox and the quest began.
PICK HIM UP AT THE ABOMINATION FACTORY AND TAKE HIM WITH YOU!
For two weeks now I get to the location and I can not summon him like other abominations. I have to run back pick him up at the factory and take him with me. I hope this helps someone and saves them time.
