When you pick up Spray and Prey from [npc=95956], make sure to also obtain
Defend the Riverlands and Return to the River from [npc=95186] standing close by.

Suggestion regarding the [item=127988] provided in the Spray and Prey Quest

Rather than turning this quest in A.S.A.P.,
keep it open so that you can continue to make use of the [item=127988].

When you spray a Drogbar with this item, he/she will go "off his nut" and
attack other NPCs in the area... e.g. [npc=94687] and other INSECT NPCs.

When you approach a couple or three NPCs, do the following:
1) Target the Drogbar and spray with the Bug Sprayer.
2) Switch to another NPC and attack that one with your usual attacks.
3) After the Drogbar helps you kill other NPC(s), kill the Drogbar.

I suggest you might want to hold onto the [item=127988] until one
of the Drogbar drops the [item=133820] Recipe. However, you will not be
able to receive the next quest in the chain, Lifespring Cavern, until you hand in Spray and Prey.

It would have been so much nicer if one could hold onto the sprayer while battling
it out in Lifespring Cavern... or perhaps Snowblind Mesa? ROTFLAPMP
;)

Description

The Bug Sprayer you recovered from Ormgul the Pestilent seems like it could give us an advantage against the drogbar and their insects. Spray the Drogbar with their own alchemy and watch their insects turn against them.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Trapped TaurenHighmountain · Level 10-45

The drogbar just rounded up those of us that they could and led them to a cave near here. If you act quickly, I think they can still be saved. I know not what purpose they have for capturing our people. I shudder to think of it... in the deep places, the darkness rules.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Fish Out of WaterHighmountain · Level 10-45

The drogbar are on a rampage! They're smashing everything they can find and are throwing fish to the shore. Worst of all, it is the wrong time to harvest fish. They must be returned to the waters so they can breed.
