After this quest you need to go to Zul'Gurub and defeat Bloodlord Mandokir, then you will get the quest An Old Friend which gives you the pet from the Lashtail Hatchling which is in the same arena.
I also wanted to know if this continues, so I put in a ticket. Blizzard told me I should return to Stranglethorn after Cataclysm releases to see if the trolls know more about Zul'Gurub. So, it sounds like it does continue.
I Want my cute lil raptor! I really hope I can get it soon as off 4. 06 still no way to get it.
