Im somewhat worried about what the lieutenant says after you turn in the quest: "With Kurzen out of the picture, we may be able to continue our original expedition here in Stranglethorn, which was... ahh... no matter!"
Its more than likely just that hes been fighting so long that he just forgot, but if Kurzen and his troops fell into madness by being in the jungle so long, the same may be happening to the lieutenant and the others in the Rebel Camp...edit: looks like Doren's bit of mania wasn't enough to keep him from being promoted to Captain by the time of Mists of Pandaria... where his mania caused him to be consumed by the Sha of Doubt... oops.

I completed this quest on 2013/01/03. All the mobs are in the cave. Entrance to the cave is @ 59.25, 18.59. Cave is called The Stockpile Mine. Seems like there are a zillion lesser mobs in the passage ways that can be easily dispensed but be careful to clear out the area before attacking the designated mobs as some of these lesser ones can come back on you and all of sudden you are fighting two at once. That can be a problem. So know your character well and utilize your cooldowns.
There are many forks in there. As accurately as I can remember, if you take the immediate right fork, Anders is at 63.71, 16.73. If you take the left fork and then bear right, Miranda is located at 65.82, 17.41 (diagonally to the right, far back). Gaulus can be located at 62.42, 14.12, taking the left fork and going down and all the way around the moat. I did not get an accurate read for Esquivel but in contrasting my locations for the others with the locations given initially by reiahart, they are all pretty close so you are not that far off in using the location of 66.11 for Esquivel. Just follow your waypoint arrow or minimap arrow. If your melee, be careful as these mobs have tendencies to quickly go in back of you when you least expect it. Good Hunting!
This is completely not accurate. There is nothing to suggest this is a reference to Battstar Galacticar in any way. There is a character called Anders in BSG, that is the only link, and this is certainly not enough to warrant people claiming references are being made. Everyone seems desperate to suggest characters and quests are references to outside material, when often this is a complete stretch and inaccurate.

What to do
Description
Now that our allies have been evacuated, it's time to run a final raid on Kurzen's Compound. They will never be weaker than they are right now, and with your help, we may be able to weaken them beyond repair. Those four names that were listed in the Officers' Dossier - Anders, Gaulus, Miranda, and Esquivel - will be the highest-ranking personnel remaining. Look for them in that cave in the back of their compound. Removing all four will be devastating to Kurzen's forces. Go with honor, {name}.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Spared from Madness
Kurzen's death is a relief, but what's more interesting, and perhaps more immediate, is the sign of some potential allies within the compound. I don't care what it says on that prison record, I know EXACTLY why those 3 were locked up: refusal to follow orders.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Bloodscalp Insight
I never got to properly thank you for saving me. Thank you, <name>. I'm still a little fatigued from my captivity, so I thought you might help me with my studies. As a shaman of the Wildhammer clan, I'm very interested in the shamanic practices of the Bloodscalp tribe.
