Surrounded!

Surrounded! is an Alliance-only quest for level 10-30 in Borean Tundra. It is step 147 of 182 in the Borean Tundra storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Borean Tundra at 82.0, 46.4. It rewards 4 reward items, 1 reputation reward and 4,100 experience.

Description

Our situation is nearly hopeless. We were ordered to take the Wailing Ziggurat with a handful of men.

We'll be lucky if we can hold this position against the Scourge. We're outnumbered, injured and have no escape route.

If you can take some of the pressure off of us, we might be able to solidify our position. Kill some of the undead circling the structure - we'll hold off their advance.

  • Escape from the Winterfin CavernsBorean Tundra · Level 10-30

The lock on my cage doesn't look too solid, but I'm not foolish enough to try to leave without assistance. Will you help me safely get out of these caverns? There's no time to waste, <race>. When you get back to the retreat, please let the king know that I'm okay. He's sure to give you a reward.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Thassarian, the Death KnightBorean Tundra · Level 10-30

Well, <name>, you helped us out... so I figure it's only fair that we help you out as well. You're looking for Thassarian? He disappeared this morning. We think he went off north to the Wailing Ziggurat. If we hadn't fought side by side by him we'd even think he was a traitor.
