Star Wars reference here.
When you find "Faceless of the Deep" he utters the words "Now, young <Name>. You will die!"
In Return of the Jedi Emperor Palpatine says "Now, young Skywalker. You will die!" just before he attacks Luke with force lightning.

The next quest in the line Get Back to Town also has a Star Wars connection.
You get a HUUUGE helmet called Dark Tan Helmet.
This is a reference to the spoof movie Spaceballs where Rick Moranis plays the Darth Vader-alike character Dark Helmet. Just imagine a shorter Darth Vader with an oversized helmet :-)

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Irresistible Pool PonyThe Lost Isles · Level 1-20

I've got a plan and you're the only one that I know crazy enough to pull it off! I need you to take this irresistible pool pony to the Vashj'elan Spawning Pool and inflate it. Then, swim down to their hatchlings with it on. I'll bet anything that the hatchlings can be lured away to follow you.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Get Back to TownThe Lost Isles · Level 1-20

We were wrong. It wasn't the naga that were preparing to attack... it was the nearby Oomlot tribe. <name>, you need to get back to the Town-In-A-Box. The pygmies are already attacking! Here, take this. We bought it off of a pygmy who said it used to belong to some great leader of theirs.
