Currently buggier than hell, the projectiles seem to be hitting some invisible barrier directly in front of the player and preventing any progress. Someone in general chat said leaving the area sometimes helps, but neither that nor relogging did anything for me. However, I did find that there's a small window if you aim lower down, that projectiles will fire normally through. Only a few of the targets are actually reachable from there, though, so it takes 3x as long to get the full amount needed.
Location of the Veilwing is 25.02/60.91. There's a winding path in Mistveil Tangle you have to take down to them. Roughly 27.02/61.43 will take you to the path. The area sucks if you don't have any dungeon gear yet. The quest itself is currently really inaccurate. You can aim at the bugs point blank and you will miss and not get credit. Best to aim far back where they start to spawn for best hit ratio. Hope this helps.
For this version on "Swarm Defense", you are NOT to go where Sipder2 tells you to, but rather to the Veilwing Sentry at coordinates 24,60, just northeast of Tirna Scithe.
