The Blue Seed

The Blue Seed is a quest for level 60 in Bastion. It is step 8 of 13 in the A Vessel of Ardenweald storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Ardenweald at 50.8, 77.4. It rewards 4,100 experience and money.

Description

I remember seeing a blue seed with red leaves nearby, but it was in a cave behind a wall of brambles. I didn't think of it at the time, but maybe you could use the red seeds to get us in?

I wish I didn't mix up the instructions or we wouldn't be in this mess. But maybe it's all going to work out anyway. Let's go!

Once you get to the location of the cave (coordinates below) you will need to use your Extra Action Button to throw [spell=321516] to clear away the shrubbery. Once cleared enter to retrieve the [item=176446].

Note: If you are experiencing any issues with NPC's disappearing you can relog and it should correct the problem.

  • Gorm Ruin EverythingBastion · Level 60

These red seeds will still prove useful. They come from a very dangerous plant and are quite unstable. If we are going to recover the blue seed we really need, then these might help. Let's clear out some of these gorm and search for the real seed.

After this quest

  • Seeds Away!Bastion · Level 60

I think we have a problem. Plucking the seed from this root must have shaken some burrowed gorm awake. This isn't good! Grab on to me. I will fly us out of here, but we must stop the gorm before they overrun the local Vorkai defenses!
