Each corrupter is surrounded by 3 totems. You have to kill the totems before you can attack the corrupter. When you kill a totem it spawns 3 little mobs with about 500-1000 hit points each. You don't have to kill the adds before killing the corrupter, but since they don't despawn when the corrupter dies you might as well. The little guys have a short aggro radius, so you can often avoid pulling all of them at once.

Description

According to Akama's letter, four fragments of the medallion were unearthed and given to the Ashtongue Corruptors. These dreaded Broken were once powerful shaman who now defile the very elements they revered. Haalum, Corruptor of Air, can be found at Netherwing Pass. Eykenen and Uylaru, Corruptors of Earth and Fire, were last seen at the Fel Pits near the Hand of Gul'dan. Lakaan, Corruptor of Water, is rumored to be near Coilskar Point. Find them and obtain the medallion fragments.
