The Assassin (Level 15-30)

The Assassin is a quest for level 15-30 in Eastern Plaguelands. It is step 30 of 46 in the Eastern Plaguelands storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Eastern Plaguelands at 76.7, 73.1. It rewards 3 reward items, 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

The fate of the Scarlet Crusade is tragic, if somewhat ironic. At one point, they led the charge of humanity against the undead. Now, they resemble those corpses that they once hunted. What caused their descent into undeath isn't certain, but it doesn't make them any less dangerous.

One of their deadliest was an assassin who went by the name of Rohan. We have intel that places him atop the bell tower in this very abbey. Find him and kill him, <name>. And try not to die on the way.

Go in the Abbey and turn right, after a second or two you'll come to a round-topped arched entrance and thru it a long flight of stairs. Go up the stairs and just keep going til you get to a room with a big wooden platform in the middle. He's in there stealthed.

Like the other posts say go into the Abbey right near where you got the quest. Turn right, then up the stairs that have a rounded top. It will tell you you're in the Hand Abbey. Go up all the stairs (they are spirals stairs) until you see the wooden platform with stairs that go up to the platform. On minimap you should see the boss skull indicator. Rohan is crouched BEHIND the wooden platform, stealth-mode. I walked right up to him and he didn't aggro, so I had to attack first.

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Victory From WithinEastern Plaguelands · Level 15-30

A few of our men didn't make it through portals which were supposed to open inside this very abbey. You've already proven your elusiveness and battlehardiness... now I need you to do so again. The abbey has two wings: a library, and a hall of arms. In each wing, you should find a portal.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Scarlet SalvageEastern Plaguelands · Level 15-30

This battle was won before it started. Right now, we're just shooting for style points. Within these barracks, the sniveling Scarlet Crusaders cling to their priceless artifacts, even though some of the objects are too holy for their now-undead hand to touch.
