The Battle Horn

The Battle Horn is a Horde-only quest for level 10-30 in Hellfire Peninsula. It is step 61 of 103 in the Hellfire Peninsula storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Hellfire Peninsula at 61.7, 81.8. It rewards 1 reputation reward and 4,100 experience.

Description

Perhaps we have taken the wrong approach to the Unyielding?

The tome tells me the Expedition Armory was destroyed by orcs and death knights long ago. The Unyielding remain here as vengeful spirits trapped in an eternal battle against the fel orc clans.

They think only of revenge. We must arrange for them to defeat their most hated enemies. Enter the Expedition Armory once again and find Lieutenant Commander Thalvos. He carries a battle horn that can summon the Unyielding. Bring it to me.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Decipher the TomeHellfire Peninsula · Level 10-30

This tome appears to be some sort of history written in a secret Alliance cipher. Althen, the historian in Spinebreaker Post, has studied the Unyielding for some time; he may be able to crack the Alliance code and decipher the book.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Bloody VengeanceHellfire Peninsula · Level 10-30

East of here is an old destroyed Alliance siege tower. Now scavengers loot it for old nails and bits of scrap. Long ago, many Alliance warriors lost their lives at this tower and their banner was captured by Urtrak, a foul orc commander. Blow the Unyielding battle horn near the Alliance banner.
