Bloody Vengeance

Bloody Vengeance is a Horde-only quest for level 10-30 in Hellfire Peninsula. It is step 62 of 103 in the Hellfire Peninsula storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Hellfire Peninsula at 61.7, 81.8. It rewards 1 reputation reward and 4,100 experience.

Description

East of here is an old destroyed Alliance siege tower. Now scavengers loot it for old nails and bits of scrap. Long ago, many Alliance warriors lost their lives at this tower and their banner was captured by Urtrak, a foul orc commander.

Blow the Unyielding battle horn near the Alliance banner. This will get the attention of Urtrak. It may also summon forth warriors who fell in battle long ago.

The above location worked for me. When you blow the horn, Urtak will show up and attack you. I didn't have time to stealth, as a rogue. He doesn't hit too hard, but he seems to have an absolute ton of hit points, so it's a good thing that a whole swarm of ghosts come help you kill him. Quite nice of them, really. :)

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Battle HornHellfire Peninsula · Level 10-30

Perhaps we have taken the wrong approach to the Unyielding? The tome tells me the Expedition Armory was destroyed by orcs and death knights long ago. The Unyielding remain here as vengeful spirits trapped in an eternal battle against the fel orc clans. They think only of revenge.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Honor the FallenHellfire Peninsula · Level 10-30

Hogarth, the commander of the Armory, is in the eastern tower. You must report your victory over Urtrak to him. Perhaps he will be friendly? Of course he may try to consume your soul. One can never tell with spirits such as these.
