TheWoWDBFor anyone else who was confused where "the portal" is (duh, shouldnt you realize where Sanctum of the Prophets is, even though it's not named and isnt on the map? :)), it's the same blue portal that you go through for all the other inside-the-fire-place quests, located at >55, 66<.
I soloed it as an 82 demo warlock (still in ICC 25 gear) with no problems. The other posters are correct in saying you dont really need to do much to Rag yourself (I threw a few dots when the adds werent up), just kill the two fire elementals when they pop (popped twice for me). I initially stuck my felguard on one while I went to kill the other, but didnt put any dots on it as I ran by and the pet bit the dust. I never got aggro off the two 'helper' NPCs, so I just nuked my head off, then ran back to the other side and killed the other one myself. Second time they spawned, I dotted the one I sent the pet after and he handled it with no problem (theyve got standard HP for the zone, 37k-ish). Fight took 3-4 minutes, Cenarius was never below 50% HP, and I ended at 70% mana. I could have made it a shorter fight if I'd have nuked Rag in the downtime, but I was playing it cautious because I didnt know how many elementals I'd need to take out. The flame wall was a joke - the one time I happened to be near the edge, I ran off to avoid it but the other two times I just kept nuking and it did negligible damage.

Pro tip of the day: if you're a priest, don't Shadow Word: Death with Malfurion's debuff active. Even talented I got hit with a 70k backlash and had to re-do the quest.

With his gatekeeper gone, you've given the Guardians of Hyjal access to Sulfuron Spire. Ragnaros will have no choice but to defend the main entryway to the Firelands himself. Go through the Twilight's Hammer portal at the Sanctum of the Prophets and meet me inside. Malfurion and Hamuul will also aid us while the others continue to fight the enemy outside.
