TheWoWDBThe 5 pylons are:
1 is in the eastern courtyard (right by the entrance).
2 are on the upstairs balcony above Tendris Warpwood.
2 are in the Prison of Immol'thar area, on the eastern side.To disable them you just kill the elementals around them. Once you've disabled all 5 you'll see:
"Highborne Summoner yells: The demon is loose! Quickly we must restrain him!"
Immol'thar is in middle of Prison of Immol'thar and Prince Thortheldrin is in the Athenaeum, below the stairs.

I just did it, and there was a force field up. Had to clear all 5 pylons before it would release. UPDATE: Still had to disable all 5 in patch 5.3.

Description
This madness must come to an end. The age of the immortals has long since passed. Destroy the guardians surrounding the five pylons to lower the force field. When this is done, destroy Immol'thar. With the Prince's power greatly reduced from the demon's demise, attack and end him as well. Lay the spirits of this city to rest, adventurer, and make the Prince pay for his wrongdoings.
