These spiders cast a spell called Ravenous Spiderlings, which gives you a Ravenous Spiderlings debuff that reads: "Spiders are eating your face, inflicting periodic Physical damage." This lasts for several seconds, to the intense horror of all arachnophobes doing this quest. :)

This quest is only obtainable after completing the first four chapters in the Jade Forest main quest line and a couple more breadcrumb quests.

The Jade Forest quest line is actually the first one you obtain upon entering Pandaria, so this begins in Stormwind with The King's Command which can either be picked up on a character in Pandaria Timewalking (you must be level 1-49 and talk to Chromie to start this) or you can pick up Hero's Call: Jade Forest! from the Hero's Call Board on any character level 50 or higher. If it doesn't show up right away try picking up some other quests from the call board until the one you want appears. You can just discard the extra quests and pick them back up anytime. Once you have that quest you can just simply follow the quest chain up to this one.

Description

West of here is the Silkwood Road. It has fallen into shadow as the spiders there have turned to a more evil and gluttonous path. I would face these villains myself but someone has to defend the noodle shop from... um... dangers and such. Go, hero, and conquer these beasts! Should you succeed perhaps I shall regale you with some of my epic tales of heroism. I'll also pay you.
