Regroup! (Horde)

Regroup! is a Horde-only quest for level 10-35 in The Jade Forest. It is step 11 of 13 in The Jade Forest, The Remains of Hellscream's Fist storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in The Jade Forest at 29.1, 13.7. It rewards 4,800 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 2 achievements.

Description

They have an airbase! I have underestimated this Alliance Captain for the last time. So many good warriors lost...

There must have been a few survivors who were able to bail during the crash. We need every able-bodied fighter we can get.

Find as many survivors as you can in the forest below, and I will investigate the wreckage itself. Rally everyone together at the nearby village for a counter-attack.

In order to get this quest on my 110 goblin shaman (trial toon boosted to 100 originally), I had to turn on track trivial quests while in Orgrimmar, then speak to General Nazgrim in Grommash Hold to get the quest "The Art of War". This quest chain starts the Mist of Pandaria intro scenario. After about half a dozen quests, you'll finally be given the quest "Regroup!" I was after the Cannonball Dented Shield for my TMog.

Only after having completed the intro scenario did a portal to Honeydew Village appear in Orgrimmar. I had never done the MoP scenario on any toon before. I tried to follow the instructions in the post below, but had no portal initially. After doing some more internet research did I figure out what I needed to do.

  • You're Either With Us Or...The Jade Forest · Level 10-35

The assistance of the nearby village has now become a necessity, <name>. We will need to use the village to regroup and tend to our wounded. Perhaps the villagers will join our cause after seeing the brutality unleashed by the alliance. You will act as envoy for the Horde.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Face to Face With ConsequenceThe Jade Forest · Level 10-35

I do not know the history of this war that you fight, and I am not interested. This land responds to negative energy in kind. The hatreds, doubt, and violence you have brought here now ooze out of Pandaria like blood from an open wound. Your actions have wrought havoc all over these ruins!
