The Sketh'lon Wreckage (Alliance)

The Sketh'lon Wreckage is an Alliance-only quest for level 25-30 in Shadowmoon Valley. It is step 58 of 147 in the Shadowmoon Valley storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Shadowmoon Valley at 38.8, 54.2. It rewards 4,100 experience and money.

Description

Our scouts have brought back disturbing reports from the ruined arakkoa encampments in the area.

The ghosts of powerful arakkoa magicians wield powers we never thought they possessed. They seem to be organizing, as though preparing for something, but our knowledge is limited. We cannot afford to remain ignorant!

Travel north to the Sketh'lon Wreckage, to the northwest of the Deathforge and search for signs of their motives.

Location verified (37, 32). Mobs are named "Dark Conclave xxx" (Ravenguard, Shadowmancer etc.) Drops were very fast for me...5 kills total to get all 3 pieces. Be careful with the Ravenguards, they fear and can cause a mess.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Quenching the BladeShadowmoon Valley · Level 25-30

The blade is nearly finished! You can almost feel the magic beginning to coalesce inside the steel, but one thing remains to be done. You must take the forged blade to the Scalding Pools near the top of the Hand of Gul'dan in Shadowmoon Valley and plunge it into the lava pools to quench the sword.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Find the DeserterShadowmoon Valley · Level 25-30

I get the feeling that all the pieces are here, but I just can't put them together in a way that makes sense. I think our best lead is to attempt to locate this deserter.
