Things Best Kept Dark

Things Best Kept Dark is a quest for level 60 in Tazavesh, the Veiled Market. It is step 3 of 10 in the Tazavesh: The Veiled Market storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Oribos at 71.4, 42.2. It rewards 8,150 experience and money.

Description

The leader of Cartel So represents a grave danger to the Shadowlands, Maw Walker.

Her name is So'leah. She seeks to assemble an artifact of the First Ones and use its power for selfish ends.

Pieces of the relic are said to be hidden on your homeworld. Brokers have never before found our way there. But if So'leah does, then Azeroth too is imperiled.

We must intercept her.

There is cargo nearby marked for Cartel So. Perhaps the manifest will give us clues as to their leader's whereabouts.

It looks like you have to take the item from NPC but actually you just need to pick up quest item from boxes near the wall.

I spent such a long time in the Hall of Shapes next to the Leatherworking trainer trying to find the documents. They're not inside. Go outside and run along the edge around Oribos until you see a stack of boxes. So'danah is standing right next to them. Scroll over the boxes till you get the cogwheel and click. Be prepared to fight because the second you click on the documents, you aggro So'danah and he starts attacking you. Stay out of the yellow aoe swirls and you'll win the game.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Insider TradingTazavesh, the Veiled Market · Level 60

I am the foremost expert on broker culture. However, relationships between cartels are complicated and unstable. Cartel So holds a small presence here in Oribos, which means the other cartels may have knowledge that I do not.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Seeking SmugglersTazavesh, the Veiled Market · Level 60

We brokers have found that it is in our best interests to remain mobile. And discreet. A number of our cities and outposts are tucked away in the In-Between, capable of moving from place to place. Much to my chagrin, it seems I have lost track of Tazavesh.

The storyline at a glance

Tazavesh: The Veiled Market has 10 steps, from The Al'ley Cat of Oribos to Tazavesh: Raiders of the Lost Artifact.

Maps its steps are placed on (steps per map): Oribos (4), Bastion (2), Oribos (1), Revendreth (1).
