This might take more than one try to go through the portal for the quest to complete even if the objectives of "Return to Lorewalker Cho" is checked off.
Exit Lorewalker mode is under your mini map. Hit it. Hearth back to Dornogal and continue the story. Don't abandon the quest. Exit the bench you are sitting on (small exit icon above action buttons). Go through the portal, then go through the next portal and then you are on the bench again. Let him talk for a bit and then you can complete the quest.
06/25/2025 : the portal to go back to Lorewalker Cho was not working at all. All the steps of the quest were marked as completed but I still couldn't turn it in. I have tried to reload, exit, earthed to Dornogal, jumped back into the Maw, used Cho's lost ability to go back to the portal from the Maw, abandoned & redid quest multiple times, clicked 50 times on portal, tried with no addons, reset fully the interface, repaired the game, reinstalled the game with no other solution or suggestions given by the support team.
Today i logged in and realized I had to exit lorewalking mode to do any world quests or turn in any TWW quests, so i exited. I went back in lorewalking mode, abandonned quest and the portal worked. So if you have the same problem, don't do like me, just exit lorewalker mode and reenter. Hope that helps some others.
