I absolutely hate this quest. Mainly because I have buckley's chance of steering Aviana's Guardian. That mount flies in more dimensions than the tardis. But anyways, whilst sitting and cussing on the ledge at the back of the cavern at coords 33.3,50.7 I discovered that if I face to the north and just wait, the Twilight Lancers literally fly straight into my lance. No more flying like a madman and a great excuse to go hang out the washing while I wait to the quest to auto-complete.
After mounting up, it said "Hyjal kids, Hyjal wives! They're lancing everyone in here!" i thought that was pretty funny.

The agents of Twilight continue their assault within this pocket of the Firelands. We must not let our offensive fall! Take wing, and destroy as many of those lancers as you can! Do not forget to pick up and equip your lance first.
