These crystals do not respawn - so once you get one it will not be coming back...
Realized this when I sat and waited for them to respawn...They do however spawn all over Deathweb Hollow, which is not just the cave area.
They are found all outside of the cave as well.
While you're in the cave, in the deep water to the left of the Defiler, swim all the way to the bottom and there's a lockbox with some loot in it. Also awards XP which is subject to the rested bonus.

What to do
Description
The spiders in the nearby overrun mine are feared by many, for their venom twists the very form of their victims. Many of the locals stay far away from their hollow, but I fear the Shadow Council has become privy to this information. Our scouts report that their warlocks are infusing these spiders with fel energy so that their venom turns their victims into demonic minions! We must destroy the defiling crystals so this madness does not spread.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Light's Rest
With the brute force of our enemy neutralized, we must turn our sights on quelling the aftermath and preparing for any future assaults. We still need Auchindoun's defenses reinvigorated. Meet me at Light's Rest, not far south of here.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Into the Hollow
I've learned that the Shadow Council is using the nearby deathweb spiders' venom to spread fel corruption and augment their forces after their defeat at the Burning Front.
