Simply find the Immolated Suplicants (to the east of the quest giver), run up, target them and use your quest item. Several people can use the item within about 5 seconds and all will get a "credit" of their own even if they are not grouped.

Description
Look at these fools. Half of them won't even make it past this trial. They are not worthy of ascending into our inner circles. But perhaps... perhaps they are worthy of menial service. Take this gem and utilize its power to save some of the less competent supplicants. Those who have no chance of succeeding. Those already on fire, preferably.
