What Once Was Ours is a quest for level 40-70 in Thaldraszus. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 9,500 experience and money.
<Thadezus scoffs at your approach.>
Are you a mortal of action, or are you going to get out of our way, <class>?
I have lost many good soldiers to those Primalists up ahead.
We have an idea of what they are planning, but we must first rout the enemy and rescue those serving under me.

The cave to turn in the quest is at /way 54.02, 64.25 - it is down the bottom, not the big top cave.
Turn in at the building/cave with warded entrance.
The entrance looks more like a building (large arched door) than a cave, and as noted below has a blue "warding" curtain just inside.

Item facts are the current retail client’s (ItemSparse); the specialisations for a pick-one item are the ones the Blizzard quest API lists; faction and currency text is the client’s own. Lowest listed price = the US commodity auction house now.
