The Once and Future Team

The Once and Future Team is a quest for level 40-70 in Thaldraszus. It is step 14 of 15 in the Time Management storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Thaldraszus at 59.6, 81.7. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 11,900 experience and money.

Description

All right! Let's pop that stasis bubble around the temple doors and release our Wardens! Are you ready for a huge tug-of-war match with time itself?

Yank at the door's bubble like you did with the crystals earlier. But be careful, all the time energy released is sure to collect and attack you. I'm not sure what will be there, but at least you'll have the freed Wardens on your side no matter what happens.

Good luck, <name>!

I found this confusing because I was standing in the wrong place the first time around. In order to use the Timewalker staff, go past the dragons, up the ramp to the temple door. Click on the button that appears on your screen and then pull the stream that appears away from the temple door.

During Dreamsurge, you may get a buff that stealths your character. You'll see a buff icon which cannot be clicked off, and your character will appear translucent, and sort of "sneak" walk around when moving. During this buff, you may find that the staff doesn't work, either by special action or clicking the staff item. This apparently is because it will not proc when stealthed. How to drop stealth? The old fashioned way, pull aggro. Or mount up. Either way, this should unstealth you and the action actually proc (assuming you can cast it without getting interrupted).

  • Quelling CausalitiesThaldraszus · Level 40-70

The Infinite has forced the energies of time to aggression. This is not good. Please slay any time elementals you encounter while assisting Ambassador Chronormu. I will remain here and help her hold Eternus in place.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Never-Final CountdownThaldraszus · Level 40-70

I never thought I'd save our temple by dismantling the very security we set up to protect it, but here we are! With the time elementals purged, our Timewalkers free, and our Wardens at the ready, it's finally time to let this last stasis bubble down and deal with Eternus.
