I'm surprised Blizzy gave us a little RP moment here even if it doesn't change anything.
Choosing not to finish off Sira Moonwarden by Speaking with Nathanos leads to him saying "I knew you didn't have it in you." and then finishing her off himself.

This is sad. It seems they know what they want from Sylvanas and the Horde w/o any input from Horde players.... this Darkshore storyline sucks for Horde so far. How are we supposed to feel good about our side through this? I don't want to run through a bunch of quests about how terrible we all are. I'm already pissed they made my favorite character (Sylvanas) do this huge awful out-of-character thing to incur all this hate. Now as players we have to quest through all the guilt and sadness of it? It's like this questline was designed to make us feel bad about which side we play. Not necessary.
One of those times when you don't want the quest mob to be shared with others. I sent the flare up and Sira was suddenly there at 3% health fighting someone else so I tagged her... I have no idea what transpired though story wise now... :-( Guess I gotta go read some spoilers some place else instead.

Description
We must carry out the Dark Lady's orders before we are overrun by these newly-invigorated elves. There is one night elf in particular that we seek. You may remember her from our last venture into Darkshore. Lucky for you, she is already dead... so she should prove less troublesome than the living ones you've already encountered. Signal me when you find her corpse.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Night Warrior
It appears these night elves won't give up the information easily... but perhaps that wisp you captured will. See if you can get it to reveal what happened here. I don't care how you do it. Father Norlath will handle the wisp from there.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Dead of Night
This is the crux of the Dark Lady's plan for Darkshore. We will raise new champions for the Forsaken and the Horde on this very spot. Guard the val'kyr. We cannot allow anything or anyone to interrupt them.
