Don't loot the corpse. If I looted I got angry wisp, if I didn't loot I got dark ranger.
This has some SERIOUS design problems. 1) people can "raise" mobs you killed, seemingly with or without having tagged them. 2) in a rush to "raise" them before some rando next to you does, you can't loot them, since they disappear after being raised.

Description
These night elf ambushes have left us undermanned. We need reinforcements if we are to hold Darkshore. Brynja, one of the Dark Lady's val'kyr, can provide us with those reinforcements. Slay the night elves and command her to raise them into our service. Should any prove unwilling... deal with them. Did I not make myself clear? Go. The Dark Lady has plans for these dark rangers.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Black Moon Rising
Darkshore has never been known for being bright and sunny, but something strange has happened here. A black moon hangs over everything. None of the scouts I sent into the forest have returned. The night elves are up to something. And I need to know what it is.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Quit Vining!
This is terrible, <name>! We got harvesters that ain't harvestin'! We've been busting our rumps chopping down all these trees, but someone keeps tangling up our machines in the vines! I ain't going out there with those night elves stalkin' around.
