I logged out and back in and it did not help, ended up abandoning and restarting a few times
Whenever i stood in front of Nathanos i think i scared Tyande off and she bugged out

I eventually took out the ranged mobs first and drew the melee back behind Nathanos so Tyrande could agro onto him.

Happy days

This is the crux of the Dark Lady's plan for Darkshore. We will raise new champions for the Forsaken and the Horde on this very spot. Guard the val'kyr. We cannot allow anything or anyone to interrupt them.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Where Hope DiesDarkshore · Level 50

We must carry out the Dark Lady's orders before we are overrun by these newly-invigorated elves. There is one night elf in particular that we seek. You may remember her from our last venture into Darkshore. Lucky for you, she is already dead...

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • AftermathDarkshore · Level 50

We all have our reasons for accepting the val'kyr's gift. But now is not the time for those discussions. Sylvanas has been dealt a heavy blow today with the loss of Brynja. We will have no time to rest before the Alliance descends on this place. Nathanos has summoned you.
