Go down the stairs and stand on the disc. The disc will move around, don't be like me and stand there for 2 minutes waiting for the diagnostic to complete. You need to click on your new character and it will raise you in the air. Do this for a total of 3 discs, follow the path on your map.

For me this quest was half-bugged. After completing the three disc scans they suggest going to the next chamber, but the door to it didn't open. I tried clicking - didn't work. Tried /reload - didn't work either. Restarting the game completely seemed to fix the issue.
Still felt quite absurd to stand there all naked and being unable to access the first ever door in this character's life.

the blue triangular teleporter-looking thing at the west end of the first room doesn't actually do anything. instead, while standing at the west end of the room, walk north or south to enter a hallway leading to the analysis room

(i may or may not have stood there for a minute trying to figure out if i was missing an extra action button to trigger the darn thing...)

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
