TheWoWDBYeah this is awful with the disconnects.. Race is completeable without blinking, just as Sambu mentions you might have to time your 2nd ability a bit. You're not gonna get Gold without blink though (not that this seems to have any effect atm?).

Another badly designed quest from blizzard. Just press 2 and 3, never use blink. Keep an eye to have momentum and you'll eventually finish this awful quest.
I noticed that if you dont hold right click while blinking it doesnt dc you.
