Zangarmoss

Zangarmoss is a quest for level 80 in The Oasis. It is step 4 of 17 in the Sneks for K'aresh storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Nagrand at 71.5, 40.8. It rewards 11,750 experience and money.

Description

Next up, we'll be needin' some moss for their beds. Sorry to say, but we need to go into the slimy marsh for 'em.

The naga control that place. It grows on their mushroom trees. They're also fond o' munching on it or something foul.

Fastest way to Zangarmarsh is through the pass to the north. If it were me, I'd look around the Darkcrest Shore.

Why are there still Illidari Naga in Zangarmarsh? Vashj has been dead for 20 years, and Illidan has been deposed as the lord of Outland for about the same amount of time. There's no Illidari to command these Naga, why are they still here, doing the same thing they were doing in BC 20 years ago?

Ahhhhh! Another quest with too few spawns points - too slow respawns - and too many items to collect . I swapped flight style to give me a chance of spotting the moss, rather than wading through irritating mobs. Add:- After flying around finding no more moss on trees - you need to find some mobs that also drop moss - finally a need to kill the irritating mobs rather than just swearing at them

O' course, we also need some snakes. That's the whole point o' why we came out here in the first place. You can find the small ones we want down in the Telaari Basin to the south. Just rustle their dens an' they'll come slitherin' out. That's where the plants they like grow.

After this quest

  • Snakes on a PlaneThe Oasis · Level 80

Last, but certainly not least, we need to get those two snakes off o' me plane! I dunno how long snakes normally live, but it seems like those two have been there forever. And they always look at me funny if I come near. Maybe you could go get 'em?
