Win-Win Situation

Win-Win Situation is a quest for level 80 in K'aresh, added in The War Within. It is step 2 of 6 in the Ba'eth's Request storyline. It rewards 1 reward item, 11,750 experience and money.

Description

Not everything you recovered yesterday was mine, but let's be honest--we're going to keep it anyway!

Xy'daz has been ripping people off for years. It's his turn to take a loss!

Now, this can work in both our favors. You sell off half of the leftover goods for me, and I'll let you keep the rest!

When your Warband reaches Renown Rank 9 with [faction=2658], you'll get access to the [storyline=5941] storyline, starting at [npc=238016] in [zone=15781]:

Day 1 :
Stealing What is Ours
Day 2 :
Win-Win Situation (small trading game to unlock required dialogue options to finish the quest, for this step, [npc=236265] has two extra quest item cookies in his stock, [item=242667] and [item=242708])
Day 3 :
The Wrong Bluecephalus
Meat My Business
Day 4 :
The Grift
A Blue for You (rewards the mount)

/way #2472 48.5 41.4 Xy'Zin and Griftah
Because they prevented us from continuing this storyline for quite a while during testing, it's uncertain whether they will spread these quests over more days (they flag a hidden tracking quest [quest=90725] to stop us from continuing back to back like they did to stagger the Whelp Daycare storyline in Dragonflight), or we'll get the mount after 4 days of completing the listed quests as seen on PTR. (There's no catch-up, that tracking quest will continue to do its job. When you pause X days, you'll finish X days later.)

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Stealing What is OursK'aresh · Level 80

Ve'nari has called in a lot of favors to get the Oasis reclamation effort off the ground. Plenty of Tazavesh merchants have donated to the cause, though some have seen fit to help themselves instead. A large shipment of stasis-sealed items was stolen from the docks by an untrustworthy importer.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Wrong BluecephalusK'aresh · Level 80

We may have gotten off on the wrong foot, but there's something you should know. That old slateback you used to haul all those imports? I thought it was just another worn-out nag, but it turns out it was the real treasure all along. A rare bluecephalus, worth a fortune!

The storyline at a glance

Ba'eth's Request has 6 steps, from Stealing What is Ours to A Blue for You.

Maps its steps are placed on (steps per map): Tazavesh (3), K'aresh (3).

Steps, storylines and map placement from the client’s QuestLine, prerequisite and QuestPOI data; neighbouring quest text is Blizzard’s own (quest API), shortened to its opening sentences.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
