Comfort Stones

Comfort Stones is a quest for level 80 in The Oasis. It is step 2 of 17 in the Sneks for K'aresh storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Nagrand at 71.5, 40.8. It rewards 11,750 experience and money.

Description

Right then. We're gonna need tae collect things tae make the snakes comfortable on K'aresh. Let's get 'em some bedding.

Some of the most important things are rocks! Snakes can sun themselves atop a rock or hide under it.

Those nearby earth elementals were always a pain in our side. See if you can get some rocks from 'em.

At first, this seems like yet another Oasis quest where they didn't account for a large crowd of max levels one or two-shotting these mobs in quick succession, and there aren't enough to go around. But it's actually not as bad at it seems. The earth elementals are spread out all over Nagrand. I had particularly good luck on the southern edge of the Oshu'gun area. There were quite a few elementals, and no one else around.

Where to go

Snakes! Why'd it have to be snakes? Ve'nari says they used to have snake-like things on K'aresh before the Devouring. None of 'em survived. They still got worms, but that's nae what we're after. I know just the place--my ol' stomping grounds in Nagrand on Outland.

O' course, we also need some snakes. That's the whole point o' why we came out here in the first place. You can find the small ones we want down in the Telaari Basin to the south. Just rustle their dens an' they'll come slitherin' out. That's where the plants they like grow.
