Up to two Demolisher Passengers can be launched onto the Flame Leviathan. To launch a player, that player must first use Load Into Catapult, after which that Demolishers' driver must stand still to channel Launch Passenger.

Once on the Levitiathen, the passengers can kill two Defense Turrets, which will fire Searing Flame on the passengers. Since patch 3.1.2, these players are no longer hit by Missile Barrage, so the damage sustained is trivial. Passengers on the Leviathan are unable to move, each with 1 turret at melee range and the other at about 10 yard distance, so don't send for example only 1 melee or only 1 hunter if you want to shut the Leviathan down.

After 2 Turrets have been destroyed, Overload Circuits will be activated. This stuns the Leviathan for 20 seconds, makes him take 50% more damage and removes the entire Gathering Speed stack. The passengers will be parachuted into the air and must be picked up by a Chopper to be returned to their Demolisher before the stun wears off.

For this achievement just destroying 1 turret is enough, Overload Circuits does not have to be activated. Only the player that delivers the killing blow gets the achievement, at the moment the Turret is killed.

I've gone into Ulduar every week for the last few months on various alts and hadn't been able to do this until I brought someone. You CANNOT solo this. There HAS to be someone thrown on top of Flame Leviathan for the turrets to be targettable. Multiple people can do this at the same time though. But there has to be someone on top of him. So just go in with two vehicles(one must be a Demolisher) and have the other person throw you on top.

Looking down at previous comments saying you don't need to be on top: you don't technically. One person has to be though. Doesn't have to be you but there needs to be at least one person in the raid up there so they *become* targettable.

Getting this achievement requires 2 people in a [npc=33109] vehicle (although you may want to bring a 2nd demolisher and park it in a corner of the battlefield, in case the first gets destroyed by the boss).

Engage [npc=33113] but don't attack; just try to avoid taking too much damage. The passenger uses the ability [spell=62427] to get into position (this was #6 on my action bar); once they are there, a new spell will appear for the driver: [spell=62324] (also #6). This works like the demolisher's [spell=62306] attack, with an arc that shows the passenger's trajectory. It doesn't have to be really precise, just aim at Flame Leviathan and the boss will use chains to pull the player into position atop it (how helpful). Just note that this spell takes 1 second to cast, so you must be stationery to execute it.

Once the passenger is on top of Flame Leviathan, the [npc=33142]s become targetable. The passenger (but not the driver) receives the achievement when 1 turret is destroyed. I didn't see a way to jump down, but apparently if all turrets are destroyed (2 on normal mode, 4 on hard mode), players on top will be parachuted to the ground and Flame Leviathan goes into [spell=62475] for 20 seconds. At this point, switch positions: driver hops out, passenger hops in; new passenger loads themselves into the catapult. When Flame Leviathan becomes active again, the turrets will respawn; repeat for player 2 to get the achievement.

Since the achievements can be obtained without defeating Flame Leviathan, both 10 and 25 man versions can be completed in one lockout. We removed gear before the fight for max squishiness, and then once we both had our achievements we let the boss kill us (or just use a feign death / vanish ability to end the encounter if you've got it). Then we ran out, set to the other raid size, and repeated the achievements. Alternatively, if you are quick enough, the driver can launch the passenger and drive back in the direction of the instance entrance, leaving the encounter area before the barrier wall appears on the south side. Flame Leviathan will pursue for a bit but then reset, which may make it a bit easier to switch roles.
