Who Needs Bloodlust? (25 player)

Thorim is now soloable so the Mind Amplification Dish is now the only one requirement.

1) pull the boss by killing jormunguar and other mobs in the arena, open the gate and wait for the Dark Rune Warbringer to spawn

2) When the Dark Rune Warbringer is spawned take him to the tunnel and kill other mobs who came with him (commoners, evokers, etc.) and continue through the tunnel with Warbringer following you killing everything else.

3) After you reach Thorim you can wait untill Sif is gone to make it easier.

4) At this point there will be ton of adds in the arena so jump down and AOE them down.

5) Now get Thorim to 20% HP +- and wait for the Warbringer to come back to you back through the tunnel.

6) Use Mind Amplification Dish on Warbringer. If it is successfull it will make Warbringer your pet and he should cast Aura of Celerity on you (blue buff) immediately. As soon as the buff is active burn Thorim down quickly since the Dish has not very long duration (I don't know if it's possible with any pet active)

Achievement completed 4/22/2009.

Although Aura of Celerity's tooltip reads "Increases nearby allies' melee, ranged, and casting speed by 20%", it currently only affects party members within range.

Mind Controlling a Dark Rune Warbringer while this aura is active shares it with your party. You can polymorph it and the aura will remain active. Remember to be within range, but remain spread from others out of Chain Lightning range. To obtain this achievement you need to be under the effect of the aura only when Thorim dies; whether or not you take advantage of it during the last phase of the encounter is optional.

The Dark Rune Warbringer NPC that is spawned during the Iron Dwarf phase gives the Aura of Celerity aura. This NPC will have to be Mindcontrolled to buff the party with this aura at the time Thorim dies.

Since Thorim doesn't come down till after the Iron Dwarf phase, the NPC can be offtanked untill needed for the achievement or be MC'd from the moment it spawns till the moment Thorim dies.
