Alluring Offer

Alluring Offer is a quest for level 75-78 in Hallowfall. It is step 5 of 6 in the Crushing Depths storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Hallowfall at 54.5, 25.3. It rewards 12,750 experience and money.

Description

It is done. Take this tidal charm, cloak your form in the darkness of the sea, and unmake the kobyss. Their strongest warriors gather and scheme against your kind upon that central island. With the lure, they will not see you for what you are. Use that advantage to become their end.

But understand, as the kobyss fail to, this is a power you borrow. It belongs to the sea.

1. Use the Begiuling Lure (extra action button). You turn into a big blob of void. The extra action button will change to Ambush the Lured.
2. Walk close to a Sunless Tidemarshal or Chieftain Gillcarver. Watch out for the Sunless Shadowblade that can see through your lure. Also watch out for Chieftain Gillcarver's crush Illusions.
3. When you're close, use the extra action button again. This will drop the mob to about half health and stun it, making it much easier to kill. (Increases damage taken by 100%, decreases damage dealt by 70%.)

For my Rogue brethren and sistren be cautious as using the lure while stealthed will break your stealth. However using stealth while under the effects of the lure will not break the lure, so lure first then stealth and you can still get your post-stealth buffs - thoroughly recommend to use the extra action button for your opener still though.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Voices from the DeepHallowfall · Level 75-78

To deceive the senses of these kobyss is one matter. To know what will captivate them is another. They champ and drool at the thought of devouring your kind. But it is the voices of the deep that transfix them and lower their guard. It's then that you will strike.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Return to the SeaHallowfall · Level 75-78

I remain weakened by my time so near the searing Light of the surface. I ask that you take me to deeper waters, away from these kobyss, where I can return to my kind.
