Tidal Charms

Tidal Charms is a quest for level 75-78 in Hallowfall. It is step 3 of 6 in the Crushing Depths storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Hallowfall at 54.5, 25.3. It rewards 10,200 experience and money.

Description

<When the fish speaks, its lips do not move. You hear its voice in your head.>

No doubt you have found that your senses cannot be trusted when dealing with the kobyss. A tremendous power, is it not? It is only fair that you show them the power they wield is not theirs alone.

I will show you how to craft a tool to lure and destroy them. You will find their kind carry shards taken from the deep. Bring them to me.

While you're adventuring in Hallowfall you'll probably kill creatures at the Sunless Strand and find a [item=217352] which will start Gasping Plea.

Find the location marked on your map and you'll meet a [npc=219430] for the Crushing Depths storyline (Tidal Charms,Voices from the Deep,Alluring Offer) that will eventually lead to Return to the Sea with the [item=222964] reward.

Make sure you're not on a mount when you are supposed to throw the fish into the water. When I did the quests, the extra action buttons for [spell=440905] and [spell=440980] didn't show until I dismounted.

That is every comment on this page.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Gasping PleaHallowfall · Level 75-78

<A gasping, pathetic-looking fish taken from the corpse of a kobyss flops weakly in your hand. Its beady eye twitches, and you suddenly hear a breathless voice in the recesses of your mind.> The water. Take me to the water. Away from these kobyss wretches. Away from the sky.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Voices from the DeepHallowfall · Level 75-78

To deceive the senses of these kobyss is one matter. To know what will captivate them is another. They champ and drool at the thought of devouring your kind. But it is the voices of the deep that transfix them and lower their guard. It's then that you will strike.
