Cage, Match

Cage, Match is a quest for level 75-78 in Hallowfall. It is step 2 of 10 in the Bringing Light to Velhan's Claim storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Hallowfall at 50.0, 20.8. It rewards 10,200 experience and money.

Description

When we were scouting before you arrived, we saw a lot of cages set up around Velhan's Claim. Typically, the kobyss use these to hold their victims until they're needed for a ritual sacrifice.

Those sacrifices lead to... lots of other dark activities. Not the least of which is eating the victims.

Let's get ahead of all that. Take my torch, and destroy the cages, so we don't have to see that happen to anyone from Velhan's Claim.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Lights OutHallowfall · Level 75-78

Name's Aegor. I try to keep tabs on Lamplighters in the field and assess what areas of Hallowfall may be in need of their aid. The dawntower fell dark at Velhan's Claim a few weeks ago. Based on what's been happening around Hallowfall, it's probably because of the rising tide of kobyss.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • If It Leads, It BleedsHallowfall · Level 75-78

Everything rises and falls on leadership, <name>. With a good leader, a unit can achieve almost anything. With a bad leader, chaos ensues and success moves out of reach. I've seen that first-hand. Without leaders, the kobyss siege will break like a wave and everything else we do here becomes easier.
