Anima Salvage (Necrolord Callings)

Anima Salvage is a quest for level 60, added in Shadowlands. It rewards 1 reputation reward.

Description

The Arbiter has done us a great disservice. Our armies dwindle in number as souls are cast into the Maw instead of taking their place on the battlefields of Maldraxxus.

The Undying Army must not be snuffed out. If the Shadowlands are to survive, we must be able to supply our troops.

Travel now into the Maw, Maw Walker, and enter Torghast. Return with Anima Embers to help kindle our supplies.

This quest has nothing to do with Maw. You loot Anima Embers from the mobs in Torghast layers or from the souls you free in there.

Each mob gives 1 Ember regardless of the layer level and the HP of the mobs. Certain mobs grant extra embers.

Elites --> 3-5 Embers
Portal Bosses --> 3-4 Embers
Rares --> 5 Embers
Freed Souls --> 3 Embers

Yeah, prev comments make no sense, seems like they are for a different quest altogether. For this one you just go into any torghast level and loot mobs, I did the highest level possible right now and got this quest done in one run.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
