Do not fight the Krokul over by the void manifestations, as they do not drop this item. You have to stay at the top of the hill at the temple ruins to get this item. The quest area extends to the region with the void manifestations, so don't get tricked into going there.

Worst quest this xpac.

Edit: Okay I completed the quest and simmered down.
I didn't have much luck around Ruins of Oronaar, but instead slightly south-east at 45.76 / 69.76.
The NPCs you're looking for are Void-Addled Krokul (neutral) and Shadow-Touched Krokul (aggressive).

Take this Quest from statue. You need to collect 5 [item=147763] this is droping from mobs from around.
