Captain Fareeya sent us ahead to secure this area. We were just about to call down a beacon and report back to the Vindicaar.

We would be honored if you would help us complete our mission.

It seems you automatically get this beacon (and the quest disappears) if you complete the story chain first.

Not sure why but this quest bugged for me and clicking on the crystal did nothing. Tried abandoning but it also didn't work.
