The end result of this quest is one of the funnier scenes in this game. Q'onzu goes and corrupts himself to see what would happen, goes "...this is boring" and just...uncorrupts himself like nothing happened.

These series of quests start with [npc=209318] for me, being at chapter 4/7 Guardians of the Dream.
Then [npc=210646] starts:
After that short quest, [npc=210524] gives:
The reward for druids only is [item=210645].
The series don't end with [npc=211821]. Go back to [npc=209318] at the Central Encampment and he will have a new quest:Then [npc=210587] and [npc=210585] start respectively:
- [Aviana] Aviana's Assessment
- [Q'onzu] Q'onzu's Quandary
While collecting Bloodied Armor Scraps, mobs will drop [item=208775]:
Seems like Ashphodel Research Notes is a requirement for [npc=210587] and [npc=210585] to start:
- [Aviana] Uproot the Cause
- [Q'onzu] Appalling Pollen
After that, you will find [npc=210587] alone with a last quest:
I'm sure this will get lost to time, but as I'm just now getting through this portion of the expansion, I just did this quest and I have come to the realization that this is Blizz's lame attempt at a Tom Bombadil character.
It's fitting too. Q'onzu is much a part of nature, lots of the dialogue is almost riddle-like, doesn't seem to mind that The Dream could be destroyed, only helps in ways that doesn't directly conflict with what is happening... and ate a bag of "fiery" pollen, then just shrugged it off like it was nothing... much like when Tom put on the One Ring and it did nothing. It might be a bit of a stretch, but that's what I'm going with.

Description
<You find some singed research notes on the slain druid. The notes detail experiments being carried out by the Druids of the Flame. You learn that they have created an unusual pollen capable of infusing dream flora with their flame-imbued magic. The next stage targets the local wildlife with the same pollen. Q'onzu would definitely be interested in a sample of the pollen and these notes.>

Where this quest fits
After this quest
Taken from a quest that requires this one.
- Uproot the Cause
<Aviana's gaze remains locked on Q'onzu for a moment, her brow furrowed.> While I don't see eye to eye with Q'onzu's fascination for change, their incessant inquiry has unveiled a more deep-seated plot than originally suspected.
- Appalling Pollen
This cinder pollen doesn't evoke interesting change. It consumes all until nothing, but ash remains. It brings... uniformity. And I find that to be tragically stale. I'm all for change, no matter the origin.
