Auspicious Gathering is a quest for level 10-80 in Emerald Dream. It is step 3 of 10 in the New Beginnings storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Amirdrassil at 50.8, 61.5. It rewards 1,200 experience and money.

Description

As you know, Amirdrassil is no ordinary tree. Tyrande Whisperwind and the rest of the kaldorei have been preparing to properly welcome it with a ceremony of their own, and establish a new moonwell.

I am certain that Tyrande would want you there for the dedication.

Let us join them at the Central Encampment.

For those who are too dense to follow quest arrows... *cough* totally not me *cough* ...you can't complete this quest by taking the portal(s)/HSing into the Emerald Dream. Tyrande Whisperwind will not accept the quest here.

What you need to do is to just fly in the direction that Merithra of the Dream is looking (Merithra is the NPC that gave you this quest).

In other words, Tyrande Whisperwind will accept your quest if you fly to the zone Amirdrassil which is located west of Ohn'ahran Plains in the Dragon Isles and talk to her there.
