TheWoWDBThis item can only be looted from the heroic version of the instance and all dungeon quests from the Tavern/Inn now require you to kill the last boss in each instance also.
If you are as geared as you can be and/or don't really want to run heroics, you can also complete the dungeon on normal and still get credit for the boss kill required. You then just extend the heroic lockout and run back in on heroic to collect the item.

The "Barrel of Horribly Acidic Solution" isn't a barrel at all. It is a decanter of green goo atop a barrel to the left of the practicing archers. I thought it dropped from the last boss.
After completing the mythic dungeon, I was teleported out as all the party members left. Also, the item did not show up on the map when I was tracking the quest.
However, I re-entered the dungeon, and went to the location of the item, and it was still there. I could pick it up even in mythic, and so managed to complete the quest after all.

Description
Welcome back, commander. The commander is obviously in a great hurry, and certainly the thought of removing their coat or boots or not dripping all over the floor are much too far beyond consideration. The commander remembers the acidic solution, yes? Quite effective it was, though one barrel was not enough to remove ALL of the blood stains from the portraits, or the tapestries, or the ceiling. Surely this must have been the most heroic and viscous battle in recent history.
