Quest Log

Bound for Kharanos

Bound for Kharanos is an Alliance-only quest for level 1-30 in Dun Morogh. It rewards 2 reward items, 1 reputation reward, 525 experience and money.

Description

I was supposed to be bringing these casks of ale to the inn in Kharanos. They contain a mysterious new ale produced by an upstart brewery based in Brewnall Village. As I was leaving town, I was attacked by a Frostmane troll raiding party. It's going to take me days to repair the wagon!

I don't suppose you'd be willing to do me a favor, will you? These big kegs aren't going anywhere, but I have some smaller sample casks. Would you bring them to Kharanos for me? Just follow the road to the southeast.

For quest completists, this seems to be the first (and only) quest non-gnomes can do in the area of the gnome starting zone.

This Alliance capital is the pride of the Dun Morogh dwarves. Home to King Magni.

Reputation group: Alliance.

Other quests in Dun Morogh that reward Ironforge reputation: Forced to Watch from Afar (+250), Protecting the Herd (+250), The Perfect Stout (+250), Beer Basted Boar Ribs (+250), Operation Recombobulation (+250), Those Blasted Troggs! (+250).

Item facts are the current retail client’s (ItemSparse); the specialisations for a pick-one item are the ones the Blizzard quest API lists; faction and currency text is the client’s own. Lowest listed price = the US commodity auction house now.

It's actually a non-gnome version of the quest On to Kharonos the quest-giver is the same, but the turn in NPCs differ. But yeah - unlike the Horde Troll zone, Echo Isles, the Alliance counterpart, the Gnomish new Tinkerton is race specific only zone.
