Building the Voidforge

Building the Voidforge is a quest for level 90 in Voidstorm, added in Midnight. It rewards 27,400 experience and money.

Description

I have been considering how I may offer you greater strength, my friend. I've come up with something, but I need your help building a proper Voidforge.

What? Oh, fear not, all my ulterior motives are still aligned with your cause. For now.

To begin, I need one Elementary Voidcore. You will be able to find shards from the more powerful foes you habitually encounter. Inflict your usual violence, return the shards, and I can weave them back into a true Voidcore to serve as the forge's foundation.

Rewards

You will receive:

  • Spell: The VoidforgeGrants access to Nebulous Voidcores, used to obtain powerful items from raid bosses, Mythic+ dungeons, Bountiful delves, and Nightmare Prey.

As far as what I've read about it, this is a 6-week long quest chain (1 per week) to fully unlock the 'feature'. Just hop in voidstorm every week (or pick it up on the Adventure guide) BEFORE doing the week's Raids/DGs/Bountiful Delves and you're set.

Probably, after the first 6-week quests are available, they'll be ALL unlocked, maybe at once for future characters/accounts.

The work continues. Find enough shards and we can fuse them back into an Elemental Voidcore. I have acquired sufficient reagents to transmute 0 cores in total thus far. The nascent Voidforge will require 6 before it is fully formed, and you have generously contributed <class>ur so far.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
